چکیده
Purpose. In order to fully exploit the metal and facilitate its method of processing, we need an accurate knowledge composition, granular distribution, association with unimportant penalizing elements that would like get rid of, compared distribution element extract by flotation method. Methodology. The present experimental work proposes approach mineralogical, chemical particle size characterization, several analyzes have been carried out Scanning Electron Microscopy Energy Dispersive Spectroscopy (SEM/EDS), X-ray Diffraction (XRD), Optical (OM), Particle Size-Fraction Analysis (PSFA), Fluorescence (XRF). These were submitted on samples lead-zinc different sizes as well well-prepared fine powder this ore; zinc content raw material is about 5% Zn. Findings. results obtained mineralogical characterization analysis reveal a very varied irregular texture ore, consisting mainly sulphides (sphalerite, galena, pyrite, marcasite), associated carbonate gangue, dolomite calcite. theoretical dimensions particles found in grain classes [-1 +0.053] mm. addition, conditions pulp using following reagents: CuSO4 activator, PAX collector, CaO regulator pine oil foamed, along pH modifier between 10.5 12 (11.8 optimal), improve sulphide minerals, increased concentrate sphalerite (ZnS) foam Flotation maximum recovery economically appropriate (54% Zn concentrate). Originality. Depending performed complete collection data laboratory, aim optimize process treating ore give more detailed reference source specialists, researchers metallurgists field mining general treatment polymetallic area studied particular. Practical value. Benefit values beneficial minerals (concentrate others sulphide), from types materials. latter focuses main successful technique extraction type but it requires constant research careful examination excel polymetallic-sulphide processing.

متن کاملSelective separation of galena and sphalerite from pyrite-rich lead-zinc ores: A case study of the Kooshk mine, Central Iran
In this research, the selective flotation of galena and sphalerite minerals was evaluated from a pyrite-rich lead-zinc sample. An optimum mixture of selective collectors against pyrite and also organic/inorganic pyrite depressants was obtained in the flotation of galena and sphalerite by an experimental mixture design. The effect of different collectors and pH values were investigated in the ob...
متن کاملAssessment of exposure to lead through air and biological monitoring in a lead and zinc mine
Background and aim: Lead is ubiquitous and one of the earliest metals discovered by the human. This metal is widely used in different industries due to its important physico-chemical properties like softness, high malleability, ductility, low melting point and resistance to corrosion. Lead absorbed in body with several routs and when transfer in blood is primarily in red blood cells. Human exp...
متن کاملThe incidence of alpha-thalassemia in Setif, Algeria.
Thalassemias are hereditary anemia syndromes occurring due to erroneous producing of globin chain of hemoglobin. Thalassemia syndromes are named according to the type of the affected globin chain. The most common types of thalassemia are alpha thalassemia and beta thalassemia. In α-thalassemia, α-globin chain production is either by decreased or completely disappeared. The gene encoding the α-g...
